What Is
REFORMATION DAY, OCTOBER 31ST
On October 31st we acknowledge the efforts of Martin Luther and his “95 Theses,” which propounded two central beliefs--that the Bible is the central religious authority and that humans may reach salvation only by their faith and not by their deeds. Bringing a spark to the Protestant Reformation, the “Disputation on the Power and Efficacy of Indulgences,” (aka The 95 Theses) were a list of questions and propositions for debate. We believe questions and systematic debate and defense (apologetics) are beneficial in today's divided climate and we are convinced the only way to have a civil discussion is by knowing and loving our neighbor with every opportunity we can get. We pray this scavenger hunt blesses you, brings you to streets you visit less frequently, and stirs up good conversation and light in a darkening and self-focused world.
